Common questions
What counts as an 'AI film'?
We use it to mean a film where the moving image is generated by AI models rather than captured on camera. That covers fully generative shorts and hybrid productions that mix generated footage with live action. Films about AI are a separate category and not what we make.
What does a 30-second AI brand film actually cost?
A polished 30 second brand film typically lands between AUD 15k and 40k depending on shot count, character work, and audio scope. That is roughly 60 to 80% below a traditional shoot of comparable quality, and the saving grows on longer formats.
Which models do you use?
We pick per shot. Sora 2 for narrative dialogue and physics, Kling 3.0 for stylised motion, HappyHorse 1.0 and Veo for specific looks, plus image-to-video pipelines when we need tight control. The model choice is a creative decision, not a default.
How is this different from a storyboard or animatic?
A storyboard locks intent, a film is the finished asset. Some clients commission just the upstream stage, and we have a full library of [AI storyboard examples showing what that deliverable looks like. Most brands commission the full film from script through final cut.
How long does an AI film take to produce?
Script and storyboard in week one, generation and iteration in week two, edit and audio in week three. A standard 30 to 60 second brand film ships in two to three weeks. Larger pieces with custom characters scale from there.
Who owns the film and do we need to disclose it was made with AI?
You own the master, the project files, and a perpetual royalty-free licence on full payment. Disclosure rules vary by market and platform, the Academy now requires disclosure for award submissions, and we will flag any compliance considerations before delivery.
